2019 Lemon Mixer

Even a little inclement weather couldn’t keep the crowds away from The Lemon Mixer! Now in its fourth year, this delightful night gave Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) supporters in the Kansas City area plenty to cheer for. More than 325 passionate people came for this record-breaking year raised enough to fund an ALSF grant to help fund a clinical trial to benefit kids fighting leukemia. From Liz Scott’s meaningful speech to childhood cancer hero Malina Cole going onstage, all attendees came together for a night of inspiration, joy and making a difference for all kids fighting cancer.


2018 Lemon Mixer

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation hosted the 3rd Annual Lemon Mixer on January 12, 2018 at the Brass on Baltimore in Kansas City, MO presented by All Climate Air and HERLIFE magazine. It was a night of fabulous food, music by Travis Martin and fun! Kansas City Royals player Alex Gordon and his wife Jamie met with our sponsors at the VIP party. Action 41 news anchor, Christa Dubill was the Master of Ceremonies. She introduced our childhood cancer hero Cooper Gray, who bravely spoke about his cancer journey with Wilms Tumor and his work with ALSF. The Nigro Brothers auctioned off a trip to L.A. Loves Alex's Lemonade, 2 ARAMARK donated suites and a Tito's Yeti cooler. The Fund a Cure donated $50,000 to the Children's Mercy Genomic Center! The 2018 Lemon Mixer raised over $175,000! See event photos here.


2017 Lemon Mixer

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation hosted the 2nd Annual Lemon Mixer on January 13, 2017 at the Grand Street in Kansas City, MO presented by Tito’s Handmade Vodka. It was a night of fabulous food, music and fun! Kansas City Royals player Alex Gordon and his wife Jamie met with our sponsors at the VIP party. Action 41 news anchor, Christa Dubill was the Master of Ceremonies. She introduced our childhood cancer hero Charlie Walsh and his mom Paige, who both spoke about ALSF and what the night meant to them. Christa also auctioned off 2 ARAMARK donated suites and picked the Kendra Scott raffle winners! We are thrilled to announce that the evening raised over $79,000!
