Coffee House/ Talent Show: A coffee house style talent show is a great way to get your school or community group involved in the battle against childhood cancer. The event can be a cabaret-type show with singers, dancers, poetry readings, and other musical or theater performances. Lemon Face Penny Wars A Penny War is a fundraising game held over an extended period of time between schools or grade levels. A fun and exciting way to engage students in raising money for a great cause. Learn more about Penny Wars now.
Other Creative Fundraising Ideas:
Anything –a-thon: You can turn just about any activity into a fundraising event. Whether it is an all night dance, bowling, wii, walking or playing basketball. Just pick an activity, sign of participants, and ask them to get pledges for participating.
Mini Lemon Ball: Every year Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation hosts a Lemon Ball Gala as a major fundraiser. You can have a mini version of our Lemon Ball by organizing your own Lemon Ball as nice formal event. You can sell tickets to the event or ask that attendees to make a donation. Feel free to model your mini Lemon Ball after our Lemon Ball.
Alex’s Lemonade Stand Club: Start an Alex’s Lemonade Stand Club at your school. You can create fundraisers like bake sales, lemonade stands, and coin drives. This is a great way to raise funds and awareness all year long!
Boo-tastic Lemonade Stand: Everyone likes a good reason to dress-up in costume, so why not get dressed up for a good cause? Get in the spirit of Halloween by hosting a Boo-tastic Lemonade Stand Fundraising event in your neighborhood, school, or business. Deck-the-Halls: In lemons, of course! Have students sell paper lemons to their family and neighbors for donations. They can explain that by donating for a lemon, they are helping your school fill the halls with a visual display of the fight against childhood cancer. Donors get to put their name on a lemon and it gets added to the wall. Fill a whole hallway in your school and reward the school with something fun.
