Monday, July 16th – Thursday, July 19th, 2018
The 2018 ALSF Student Leadership Academy (SLA) is open to rising high school and college students. High school and college students accepted into the program will follow their own curriculum for their age group. This year, SLA will begin on Monday, July 16th and will last through Thursday, July 19th, 2018 at Villanova University. The program, lodging, and meals are provided FREE of charge to accepted students. However, students must arrange their own transportation to Philadelphia.
This is an elite leadership-intensive program for students interested in making a difference in the lives of kids with cancer. All accepted students will become official ambassadors of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and will participate in various ways at foundation events across the country for the 2018-2019 school year. We are looking for students who are truly dedicated to joining us in the fight against childhood cancer.
Since 2011, we have trained 425 students, all of which have represented 24 different states and 2 countries. We’ve also raised $57,000 for childhood cancer research, which funds over 1,100 hours of research.
