Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation Announces 2019 Single-cell Pediatric Cancer Atlas Grant Recipients

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), a nonprofit dedicated to finding cures for all children with cancer, announces $2 million in grant funding to create the first publicly available Single-cell Pediatric Cancer Atlas (ScPCA). The awarding of ten $200,000 grants will fund the single-cell profiling of pediatric cancer samples with the goal of producing an atlas of gene expression profiles for different types of pediatric cancers from different organ sites.

Tap Cancer Out Funds $870,000 for Childhood Cancer Research

Bala Cynwyd, PA – Tap Cancer Out (TCO), the most impactful nonprofit in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, is committed to fighting for those in the fight of their lives, and in partnership with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), is facing pediatric cancer head on. TCO’s 2019 fundraising efforts, which included 17 events throughout the US, resulted in an $870,000 gift to ALSF, which will primarily fund research for better cures and less toxic treatments.

The 14th Annual Lemon Ball Returns Saturday, January 18, 2020

The Lemon Ball is presented by ALDI, Applebee’s, Northwestern Mutual and Volvo, with additional support from Diamond Sponsors Auntie Anne’s, General Floor and Power Home Remodeling.

The Lemon Mixer Returns for the Fifth Year to Kansas City January 10

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) will host the 5th Annual Lemon Mixer presented by Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Kansas City. The Lemon Mixer is Friday, January 10, 2020 from 7-10 PM at The Abbott in Kansas City, MO. Proceeds from the annual event will benefit childhood cancer research through ALSF.

First Universal Childhood Cancer Data Lab releases $1.5 billion of data to public

Philadelphia, PA (October 30, 2019) – The Childhood Cancer Data Lab (CCDL) powered by Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) has been integrating data to promote childhood cancer research and continue toward Alex’s goals of finding cures for all kids with cancer since it opened in 2017.
