Chance for Life Foundation Supports Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and Funds $250,000 in Grants for Childhood Cancer Research

Chance for Life (CFL) has donated $250,000 to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) to co-fund research for better cures and treatments for neuroblastoma. CFL is committed to fighting for childhood cancer research and better, less toxic treatments for children with cancer. This gift is the most recent donation CFL has made to ALSF, for a total of more than $630,000.

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation is proud to announce the appointments of the new Executive Board of Directors. Mary Austen, President & CEO of Tierney, has been named Board Chair. Kristin Kelly, Former Branding and Merchandising Executive, Lancome and Cole Haan, has been named Vice Chair. Ann Weiser, President of Weiser Works, has been named Secretary. Larry Vincent, Chief Branding Officer, UTA Brand Studio, has been named Treasurer.

Artist Jay McClellan Supports Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation

Jay McClellanAlex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation is debuting a special coloring book in collaboration with local renowned pet artist, Jay McClellan. McClellan is famously known for his commissioned dog artwork sold at Anthropologie and featured at the White Dog Café restaurants throughout the Philadelphia area. The coloring book will include sketches of dogs belonging to ALSF supporters.

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation Announces 2019 Single-cell Pediatric Cancer Atlas Grant Recipients

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), a nonprofit dedicated to finding cures for all children with cancer, announces $2 million in grant funding to create the first publicly available Single-cell Pediatric Cancer Atlas (ScPCA). The awarding of ten $200,000 grants will fund the single-cell profiling of pediatric cancer samples with the goal of producing an atlas of gene expression profiles for different types of pediatric cancers from different organ sites.

Tap Cancer Out Funds $870,000 for Childhood Cancer Research

Bala Cynwyd, PA – Tap Cancer Out (TCO), the most impactful nonprofit in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, is committed to fighting for those in the fight of their lives, and in partnership with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), is facing pediatric cancer head on. TCO’s 2019 fundraising efforts, which included 17 events throughout the US, resulted in an $870,000 gift to ALSF, which will primarily fund research for better cures and less toxic treatments.
