Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), a nonprofit dedicated to finding cures for all kids with cancer, will host its first-ever virtual auction on from Wednesday, June 17 through Wednesday, June 24. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected ALSF’s ability to host in-person special events, however the fight to end childhood cancer continues and children need us now more than ever.
The Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) COVID-19 Emergency Fund has received support from a unique online fundraiser created by Northwestern Mutual advisors and staff. The group, known as NM Peloton 30 for 30, is using fitness to help families battling childhood cancer during the pandemic.
ALSF receives $100,000 gift from Northwestern Mutual to further support families during COVID-19 Crisis
Philadelphia – April 16, 2020 - Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) announces Northwestern Mutual, through its Foundation, has donated $100,000 to further assist with the rapidly changing needs of childhood cancer heroes and their families during the COVID-19 health crisis. The funds will support ALSF’s expanded Travel for Care program and temporary new grocery program as well as other emerging needs due to the COVID-19.
Stride Rite has teamed up with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) and will donate 10% from the sale of every Soft Motion Atlas Slip-on shoe beginning March 6, 2020. Six styles are available including lemon yellow, navy, grey shark, pink floral, navy/orange and silver.

Chance for Life (CFL) has donated $250,000 to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) to co-fund research for better cures and treatments for neuroblastoma. CFL is committed to fighting for childhood cancer research and better, less toxic treatments for children with cancer. This gift is the most recent donation CFL has made to ALSF, for a total of more than $630,000.
Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation is proud to announce the appointments of the new Executive Board of Directors. Mary Austen, President & CEO of Tierney, has been named Board Chair. Kristin Kelly, Former Branding and Merchandising Executive, Lancome and Cole Haan, has been named Vice Chair. Ann Weiser, President of Weiser Works, has been named Secretary. Larry Vincent, Chief Branding Officer, UTA Brand Studio, has been named Treasurer.

McClellan is famously known for his commissioned dog artwork sold at Anthropologie and featured at the White Dog Café restaurants throughout the Philadelphia area. The coloring book will include sketches of dogs belonging to ALSF supporters.
The McKenna Claire Foundation has donated $25,000 to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) to co-fund research for better cures and treatments for DIPG which currently has a 0% survival rate. The McKenna Claire Foundation is committed to fighting for childhood cancer research and better, less toxic treatments for children with cancer.
