Bala Cynwyd, PA – May 1, 2023 – Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), a nonprofit committed to curing childhood cancer, invites families and individuals across the country to host lemonade stands from June 3-11. ALSF is celebrating 20 years of the national fundraiser, known as Lemonade Days, honoring the legacy of the organization’s founder Alexandra “Alex” Scott and the mission of the organization to fight childhood cancer, one cup at a time.

Lemonade stands for More During Alex's Lemonade Days, June 4-12, 2022

Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), a nonprofit committed to curing childhood cancer, invites families and individuals across the country to visit and support local lemonade stands during Alex’s Lemonade Days (June 4-12).

The national volunteer fundraiser commemorates ALSF founder Alexandra “Alex” Scott’s challenge to raise $1 million for childhood cancer cures, one cup of lemonade at a time. Volunteers are invited to host lemonade stands during the first full week of June to continue Alex’s mission and bring renewed attention to the fight against childhood cancer.

Five Ways to Host a Lemonade Stand

Hosting a lemonade stand on a hot summer day is a great way to beat the heat and help kids beat childhood cancer! This year, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation’s (ALSF) annual Lemonade Days is back! It is the perfect time to come together and help raise funds for childhood cancer research. Looking for ideas? Here are five creative ways you can host a lemonade stand and help kids with cancer:

Feel-Good Friday (It’s Lemonade Days)

Last week, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation supporters kicked off Lemonade Days. Traditionally, Lemonade Days is a week of front yard and community lemonade stands. This year, of course, is a little different, but the generosity and creativity from stand hosts is bigger than ever. From hosting virtual events to offering drive-by lemonade pick-up, Lemonade Days stand hosts are never short on ideas and inspiration! It’s not too late to sign up for Lemonade Days at LemonadeDays.org. You can host a virtual or social-distance-friendly fundraiser any day and continue the legacy ALSF founder, Alex Scott, started.
